Ayurveda is the traditional healing system of India.
It is an ancient, comprehensive healing system that is based on the laws of Nature. Ayurveda is used to maintain health and vitality as well as for healing. Ayurvedic footwork and handwork have a very special place within Ayurvedic tradition. Ayurvedic Reflexology is the dynamic integration of traditional Ayurvedic bodywork techniques with contemporary reflexology. Ayurvedic Reflexology can be applied to the hands and feet. The direction of energy (Prana) flow within the body is respected and followed during the application of Ayurvedic Reflexology. This workshop is ideally suited to Reflexologists, Massage Therapists, and Bodyworkers. The Ayurvedic Reflexology techniques are different from Western techniques and described as kinder to the hands. Teaching strategies include Power Point Presentation, DVD, charts, anatomical models, and lots of guided hands-on practice. Comprehensive course notes are included.
